How do I connect to the VPN?
Open the Upside Down VPN app and tap the large button in the center of the screen.
The app will automatically configure everything — no manual setup needed. Once connected, you'll see
the "Upside Down" interface.
Why does my connection fail on
the first try?
Occasionally the first connection attempt may fail as iOS sets up the VPN profile.
The app will automatically retry. If it still doesn't work, try toggling the connection off and on
again.
Can I use the VPN on multiple
devices?
Your subscription is linked to your Apple ID. Any device signed in with the same
Apple ID can use the VPN by restoring your purchase in the app.
How do I cancel my
subscription?
Go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Upside Down VPN → Cancel. You'll
continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
Is my data logged or tracked?
No. We have a strict zero-logs policy. We don't store, track, or sell any of your
browsing activity, connection timestamps, or IP addresses.
What encryption does the VPN
use?
We use the IKEv2 protocol with AES-256-GCM encryption and per-user certificate
authentication. Each user receives a unique cryptographic certificate — no shared passwords.
The VPN is connected but
websites don't load
Try disconnecting and reconnecting. If the issue persists, check your internet
connection without VPN first. If your internet works fine but the VPN doesn't, please contact our
support team.
